The Rheumatology department treats and follows up patients with rheumatism under the supervision of the best Rheumatology professors with the help of well qualified physical treatment experts.
The department includes the following units:
• Wax Unit:
This unit is specialized in the treatment of bone fractures and joint stiffness.
• Laser Unit:
This unit is specialized in the treatment of ulcers, wound healing, and tendons inflammations. The treatment aims to alleviate the pain.
• Treatment with electricity Unit:
The unit provides its services for both adults and children and is specialized in the treatment of all cases of cerebral palsy, nerve damage and fractures.
• Therapeutic Exercises Unit:
The unit also provides its services for both adults and children.
• Ozone treatment unit:
For the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers, joints stiffness, bed sores, burns, back pain, some rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, as well as a complementary treatment in cases of hepatitis.
• EMG Unit :
The unit is specialized in the treatment of nerves constrictions and muscle weakness, by using EMG and nerve conduction velocity measurement.
